What is Aeroseal?

Air-sealing technologies close gaps and leaks from the inside out.  It targets your home’s ductwork, sealing leaks in heating and cooling systems that often account for major energy loss. In houses with forced-air heating and cooling systems, ducts are used to distribute conditioned air throughout the house.  But in typical houses, about 25-40% of the air that moves through the duct system is lost due to leaks and holes.  The result is higher utility bills and difficulty keeping the house comfortable, no matter how the thermostat is set.

What is the process?

Step 1:  Prep & Test. Technicians block all air registers and measure the current, "presealing" leakage.

Step 2:  Injection. The sealer is injected, and the computer monitors the progress in real-time.

Step 3:  Verification. After sealing, a final test is conducted, adn the homeowner receives a report detailing the exact percentage oif improvement (often, reducing leakage by 90% or more.)
